How to Run a Subtitle Delivery Workflow for Video Clips

1. Prepare the master subtitles and clip timeline

Export one SRT from the full video and keep it as the source for every clip. Add a CSV with name,start,end columns; each row describes one clip on the source timeline. You do not need to upload the video.

Copy the cut points from your edit. Both HH:MM:SS.mmm and HH:MM:SS,mmm timecodes work. Start with the CSV template if you do not have a timeline file yet.

2. Check each clip before delivery

Upload both files below and review the parsed ranges, caption counts and warnings. Correct invalid times or names in the CSV before exporting. For a caption that crosses a clip boundary, choose whether to trim it at the cut or exclude it from that clip.

The tool resets each retained cue against the clip start and renumbers it. For example, a cue at 03:45.500 in a clip starting at 03:42.000 begins at 00:03.500. The first cue can start later than zero when the clip opens without speech.

3. Export and hand off one auditable ZIP

After review, sign in to generate the delivery package. Each clip gets an SRT with clip-relative timing and a plain-text TXT transcript. The ZIP also includes manifest.csv with the clip ranges, caption counts, boundary choices and warnings. Upload and review are available before sign-in.

For a revision, update the affected CSV rows or master SRT and run the workflow again. Keep the new manifest with the delivered files so the team can see which ranges and policies produced them. Source and exported files are deleted after 24 hours.
