How to use this subtitle tool
- Choose a WebVTT file up to 5 MB or 10,000 cues.
- Review the SRT preview and any compatibility warnings.
- Download the converted SRT file without signing in.
What cannot be represented in SRT?
SRT stores timing and caption text but has no standard fields for WebVTT cue positioning, regions, style sheets or notes. Those blocks are omitted instead of being inserted into the spoken caption text, and every omission is shown as a warning. For what browsers accept, see the MDN WebVTT API documentation.
