Clip Caption Kit

About Clip Caption Kit

Clip Caption Kit is a batch subtitle delivery tool: one master SRT plus a clip timeline CSV becomes separate, clip-relative subtitle files in one auditable ZIP.

What it is

Clip Caption Kit turns one master SRT and a CSV of clip time ranges into separate, clip-relative SRT and TXT files, packaged with a manifest.csv that records each clip's range, caption count, boundary policy and warnings. Time arithmetic runs in integer milliseconds, so the same input always produces the same output — independently verifiable on the verification page.

Who it serves

Video editors, podcast teams and course producers who cut a long recording into many clips and need one subtitle file per clip, each starting at 00:00. See the subtitles for video clips workflow and the subtitle workflow guides for the reasoning behind it.

What it is not

Not a video editor, not an AI transcription service, and not a subtitle translator. The video never has to be uploaded: only the master SRT and the timeline CSV are processed, and both are deleted within 24 hours, along with every generated deliverable. The privacy policy lists exactly what is kept and why.
